The Friends of Detroit Rowing (FODR) hosted the 2025 Oarsmen’s Ball on Feb. 1 at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum on Belle Isle to help fund their campaign to build a new shell house and increase access to rowing on the Detroit River. The black-tie optional event offered guests the opportunity to view the exhibits at the museum, sample hors d’oeuvres, listen to jazz music, participate in silent auctions, enjoy a drink at the bar, and meet past rowing Olympians.
